Adventures of Pocket Edward

So I found the funniest blog EVER! Erin and I laughed and laughed as we read it. This girl is the cutest, funniest person I've never met. She talks about the adventures of her Pocket Edward, their trip to Disneyland together, him taking a bubble bath, making her dinner, etc. If you want a good chuckle, take a look.

Potty Break

Ella has been doing pretty well about potty training. Only one dirty diaper since we started. That is nice. We are using pull-ups so I am much happier than when I was trying to go straight to underwear. The other day I was looking around for Ella when I found her like this:
She had snuck a brownie from the counter and then gone to the bathroom. I was just happy she is now taking herself to the bathroom. She can have that brownie. Although now it has been "flagged"(Seinfeld episode).

Happy Birthday, Dr. Seuss

Since Dr. Seuss would have been 105 on Monday. This week at school, Ethan has been celebrating Dr. Suess and his birthday. They have been doing things such as wacky day, pajama day, sports day and hat day. I love Dr. Seuss books and I know we all have atleast one book that we remember reading as a child written by him.

I love the characters in this picture. I'm trying to figure out if the Grinch wants to fix the tie or shred it into pieces- love his little expression here. Also the goat figure thingy that is staring Dr. Seuss in the eye and saying "Are you serious I have to stand on this tiny wobbly little thing?" What an imagination- I am glad he shared it with all of us.

Shannie

I had a wonderful conversation with my good friend, Shannie, today. We text and email to keep in touch- but nothing can replace a good heart to heart. Thanks for the phone call, Shannon. I love laughing and catching up with you. You are one of those people that understands me inside and out without judgement. Love you! I am happy all is well with you and your little family.

Beautiful Nieces

Of course I made my nieces let me take some pictures of them while they were here. The weather was cold and rainy so we just were only able to snap a couple shots! Thank you, girls! You are BEAUTIFUL!!!

Family time

My mom and sister, along with her kids, came to visit me last weekend. It meant the world to me that they would drive so far with a carload of people to come see me. I had the best time with them. We were able to go out to see a movie, go bowling, attend bookclub, and even see Ethan's last basketball game (which they won)! At the game, my niece, Morgan made a little poster to hold up that said "Go Ethan!" She cheered him on the whole game. It was cute when Ethan came to the side to throw the ball in, he yelled out, "Hi Morgan!" and waved at her while everyone was waiting for him to continue the game. I loved that!

After the game, the team had a bowling party. Each player was given a trophy. The team gave Kent a plaque and a "Thank you" picture for being such a great coach.

There is nothing I enjoy more than having a table surrounded by people I love. I am so thankful my family took the time to come see me- it means so much to have their support and love. I love you!

Dose of Inspiration

So this is my inspiration room for what I'd like my "creative room" to look like (maybe not as many nick-nacks on the desk). My creative room will be where I play on photoshop and do my craft projects. I would even just love sitting in this room.

Watch your step!

I think the cottage in France with this staircase would LOVE to have a set of those couches I posted a few days ago.

The B Family

So you've seen pictures of Ella's little friend, Marinn, now you can see pictures of her whole family. They moved in recently and we are so thankful for their friendship. We had a great time in some crazy alley taking pictures! Hope you enjoy this beautiful family.

Country Garden Antiques

Today Reagran showed Renae and I an amazing Antique shop, so we wanted to take some fun pictures of the little girls. The owner's home is over 10,000 square feet with 10 bedrooms and 7 fireplaces!

This is the greenhouse behind the main home. I am glad to have some cute pictures of these darling friends. They were having so much fun, it was all I could do to get some shots with eye contact.
They had this amazing treehouse in the backyard
This is the kitchen on the porch next to the pool.
