Happy Halloween Dinner

We had Reagran's family over for a spooky Halloween dinner. We had a chicken cordon bleu mummy, hot corn chowder, sticks-n-trees with eye ball cupcakes for dessert.

After dinner we had some fun bobbing for apples.

Happy Birthday Joy!

My amazingly gorgeous friend, Joy, is having her birthday today.
I have so learned so many things from her. She is a loving mother and wife with so many talents to offer. She is a perfect example of a strong sensitive woman. I am thankful that she was put into my life. Joy, thank you for being you! Welcome to the 30's club!

Duke

If any of you know Brent, then you know Duke. I am sad to say that Duke passed away this morning after being hit by a car.
My heart goes out to Brent at this time. Duke was always such a happy and loving dog. I am also sad for Lola to be without him. They were the best of friends. We'll miss playing fetch with you, boy, and running around the pond. We love you.

Ella Bella

Here's what happens pretty much every day lately...

Twilight Movie Premier Dinner Event

Erin and I will be hosting a Twilight Movie Party here in Sunnyside. Take a look at the information and if you are within driving distance- come have a great night!

Here is a picture of the shirt that we designed, and will be selling at the event. If you can't make it to the party, you can still order a shirt!

Happy Birthday, Parker

Ethan and Ella's cousin, Parker's birthday is today. Parker lives in China so we don't get to see him as often as we'd like, but we love hearing about all of his amazing adventures. Happy Birthday!

Our Musical Date

So you know Ethan and I like to go on "Our Special Dates." Well after the clinic open house we ditched Kent and Ella. Ethan chose to go to Burger Ranch for dinner. He loves the french fries there, mostly because they have the best fry sauce around. Also, he tasted his first ever Root Beer Float. Delicious!!!
After dinner we met up with some friends to see "High School Musical 3!" During the movie Ethan was dancing in his seat. His favorite part was "The Boys are Back." LOVED THE SHOW! Amy, you gotta go see it with your mom!!!

Dental Office Open House

Today was the Grand Re-opening for the dental clinic. They added on a major expansion that took over a year to complete. Now that every room is operable and decorated they had an open house and pretty much everyone in town showed up! It was comparable to a carnival. Take a look at the pictures!

Happy Birthday Shannie!

Today is my beautiful friend, Shannon's, birthday.
I am so blessed to have a friend like Shannon in my life. She is so real and genuine. She has cried with me and laughed with me and then laughed some more with me. She is one of those friends that you can be your silliest self with. We have had some very deep conversations that have made me a better person. I miss you so much, Shannon. I wish I could be with you today to have some chocolate cake and a pedicure. Happy Birthday! I love you!

Carving Pumpkins

Here are LOTS of pictures of the kids carving pumpkins. Enjoy!

What is with that face?

Introducing baby Kloe

Heidi's beautiful baby girl arrived safely. Isn't she just gorgeous?! She is so tiny! She is so chic already! I'm loving the carseat, bow, blanket (and curtains). She weighed 7 pounds and is 19 1/2 inches long. I am so filled with love for my precious friends. Congratulations to you!

Children's Museum

Before we left Spokane, we took the kids to a great hands on museum.
They had a darling stage with a dressing room area and a backstage area. The kids had fun putting on costumes and acting out different things for us.

The kids were able to put pieces down in the water to create routes for the boats to go down so they could race each other. Jory and Kent really got into this one.

The water lab was so fun.

Even Kathy and Kent wanted to play!

They had a little "town" where you could ride these little bikes on the roads. You had to obey the traffic lights and stop for pedestrians. There was a doctor's clinic, a fire station, and a police station. It made me want to be a kid again.

Aren't Benjamin and Lia such cute police officers?

In the art studio you could paint, color, cut and paste and then hang your artwork on the wall.

Swimming at the Hotel

Since all of the kids were stuck in one hotel room with a babysitter, while we saw Phantom, we let them get their energy out by walking a few blocks through town to dinner and then some swimming before bedtime. The kids play so well together.
Nice stink eye, Ella!

Phantom of the Opera

Last weekend we had the opportunity to see Phantom of the Opera. Since Erin played "Meg" with this same performing company, she was able to get us amazing seats.

It was fun to go with (from left to right) Doug (another dentist that Kent works with) and Marra Lynn Rodriguez, Jory and Kathy, Brent and Erin (Tanner came for the "after party").

Not only did Erin get us great seats, but she still knows some members of the cast so we had a private backstage tour after the show!!

From left to right we have the understudy for Raoul. He was in Liken the Scriptures with Erin so he was our personal tour guide. Next to him is the woman that played Carlotta- she was amazing! Then Erin, me, Kathy and Raoul (phenomenal perfomer) and then Marra Lynn.

This picture isn't really great, but we weren't really supposed to take pictures so we had to sneak it. This is us in front of the famous chandelier!!

Okay, so here we are with THE PHANTOM! He is the one wearing the hat. His perfomance was absolutely impeccable. I got the chills over and over whenever he would sing. When I met him up close I wanted to request a personal serenade. I just couldn't believe the talent and perfection in his voice. Wow!

Can I just brag about my friend Erin for a minute? It was so fun to see a glimpse of the life she had before I met her. To watch the part of "Meg" on stage and picture Erin there was so fun. Erin is such a talented performer. All of the cast members and hair and costumers were thrilled to see Erin and to meet her husband and little baby. Erin was absolutely glowing to live that part of her life for a moment. Thank you for sharing this with us, Erin. It was a wonderful day that I will remember for a long time. Here is a picture of Erin as the role of "Meg".
