My parents have been in the market for an RV for the last few months. My dad has busied himself with the classified ads, phone calls, trips to look at RVs anywhere from Logan to Salt Lake to Richland and Yakima. There is no doubt he did his due diligence. Well, the stars aligned and he found "the one" right here in Sunnyside. Lucky us! We got to venture out with my mom and dad on the maiden voyage. We did a test run to McDonalds in the town about 20 minutes away. It was a hit. The next day my mom and I went on a shopping spree to load up the RV with blankets, pillows, paper plates, and the rest of the necessities. We left after school and work and camped out near Rimrock Lake. Cannon LOVES the RV when it's riding along- he is gently rocked to sleep. When it is stopped he isn't such a fan so that made for a long night for everyone (mostly my mom and I). The all-nighter didn't keep us from having a great time and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

It was COLD!!

Roasted hot dogs is the breakfast of champions when you are camping.

Followed up with roasted marshmallows!

Ethan and Kent had a great time doing what they do best- playing football. When Ethan overthrew the ball and it went down a small cliff, Kent had to do some nature hiking.

Found it!
Grandma was a good sport to play hide and seek with Ella.

Hitting the road to head home (in an RV) does NOT mean the party is over.

Look at this cute co-pilot with his Menkes hat on. Love you, Dad!
Lunch on the go.

Wrestling and playing football all the way home. Oh boy.

Like I said- Cannon LOVES the RV when it humming down the road. Look at that soft bed!
