Somewhere between the
Shabby Apple Baby dresses I ordered awhile ago, or the fabric I saw online that inspired me to try sewing... here is my first attempt. It's harder than it looks! It took me all day- but here it is. Definitely NOT Shabby Apple level but I am just learning. Please don't go directly to Shabby Baby after looking at this post. Unfortunately, the fabrics I can purchase here in Sunnyside are... uh.. limited... so this will have to do. I can't wait to take a trip into the "big city" and look for some fabulous prints. I have always wanted to learn how to sew and now I can say I know how- even if I struggled through it.

Is there anything you can't do? :)
It turned out adorable, sorry I couldn't offer any sewing help. Maybe I should try to make one for Audrey and YOU can help me!
Honestly....where do you find the time! Amazing.
Yes, where do you find the time?! The dress is adorable! What a cute design and great print! Where did you find your pattern? I am horrible at following patterns, all I know how to make is simple simple blankets. But a dress like that gives me some inspiration to try.
Natalie,
First of all, that dress is awesome. I would totally put my daughter in it, and even buy one. Great job. I also love the pictures of Ella in "first signs of spring." Those are gorgeous. So, are you going to Figi with just you and your sister, or taking the family and kids?
love you so,
Joy
So Adorable!!!
