Just Another Football Weekend

As we all know, Kent is somewhat of a college football FANATIC- specifically BYU and the Gators. Last weekend, BYU played against the Gator's rival, Florida State. Kent packed his BYU t-shirt and hat into a suitcase and was on the plane to Florida for the weekend. He met up with his family to have a fun whirlwind weekend full of golf, football, talk of business opportunity ideas and I'm sure a lot of laughing.
At the game, Kent was able to meet up with some old Dental school friends. Here is he with Matt and Lincoln Russell. My heart is oozing with jealousy.
Kent also saw Jason, Shannon, Jayden, Shay and Savi. SOOO jealous!
Here are the wild BYU fans, ready for the game.

They spent some time at the an arcade place- for the kids. It looks like these "big kids," Kent and his older brother Kevin, had a great time. I need to find out who won!

It was strange for me to think that Kent was hanging out with Amy without ME!!
They played 27 holes of golf at the Sawgrass course where the Player's Championship Tour is held.
Kent saying goodbye to his mom and dad after a very busy, fun-filled weekend.

Although Ethan wasn't able to go with Kent this time, the Weaver's took him to watch the Sunnyside High School Grizzlies play. Jane (Weaver) stayed at our house to play with Ella. (Excuse the cell phone pictures).

The girls like to use the ottoman as a slideJane was getting tired so she got in a sleeping bag and watched Ella play princess games on the computer

Victoria

This beautiful girl is the daughter of Kent's assistant. I am so glad she asked me to take her Senior pictures.

Happy Birthdays!

We are at it again! Erin, Kathy and I put together a fun birthday dinner for TWO of our new friends on their birthday weekend! Brittany and Tara have moved into Sunnyside in the last few months and we could not be happier. Their kids are close in ages to our kids and they have a great time together. I'm glad we were able to do something special for them to let them know how grateful we are that they are a part of our lives now.

Random Cell Phone Pictures

Here are a couple pictures on my cell phone that just make me smile.

Annie the Babysitter

Now I know why Ella always wants to play with Annie... who wouldn't, with treatment like this?

Seattle Zoo

On one of our trips to Seattle, my mom and I took the kids to the Zoo. The face painter did such a great job- they were so detailed. Ella's looks great with her "cherry icee mustache" too.

September 11

May God bless all of those that were effected by the tragedy of 9/11/01. May we now remember all those that fight for our safety. May their families be blessed for saving and protecting ours. May we always be thankful for the rights we have. May we never take it for granted that people we know, and people we don't, are sacrificing their lives to make ours better. May we do something today to serve another in gratitude of what others have done for us.

This picture of Matt and Heidi makes me my heart soar. They are some of our dearest friends Kent and I had the pleasure of knowing while we were in Dental school. Matt is currently serving in the Navy in North Carolina. I am honored to know him, and his wife is the most amazing person you'll ever meet. Whenever we see a soldier in uniform, I tell my Ethan boy that Lincoln's (Ethan's best friend in Florida) daddy is a soldier too who serves our country and protects us from bad guys. I love to see the pride that Ethan has for his friend's daddy. Thank you to all the Daddy's and Mommy's that sacrifice their time and skills to serve this country.

Family Picture

How sad is it that this is the only family photo we have right now? I just love photo booths and I make my family cram into them whenever I see one. This picture is awesome, but I think we better start making an appointment for a real family photo shoot.
