Beautiful Heidi

My dear friend, Heidi, is 40 weeks pregnant. This is such a wonderful thing because her first two pregnancies put her on bedrest early on. Heidi is such a beautiful person inside and out. She has been an example to me of what a Christ-like person should be. I miss her family incredibly and couldn't be happier for them to have another beautiful little sister for Lincoln and Paige to love and adore. I only wish we could be there for such a special part of their life. I love you, Heidi. You are in our prayers. Isn't she gorgeous?!!!

Here is the amazing room Heidi has prepared for Paige to share with her new baby sister. Heidi has beauty AND talent. I am so lucky to be her friend.

George Washington

While my parents were here last week, Kent and I left the kids with them and went on a little over-night getaway! This is the resort where you check in. It is in a vineyard in the middle of nowhere, the nearest town was called George, on the Columbia River Gorge. Kent and I had a laugh about staying in George, Washington.

Instead of a resort with typical hotel rooms, they have individual Cliffehouse that looks over the gorge.

Here is a picture where Kent and I stayed.

They have beautiful walking trails throughout the area and through the vineyards.

This is the view Kent and I enjoyed from our Cliffehouse.

This is the patio that we could sit on and enjoy the view.

The rooms were so nice, complete with dual-sided fireplace and a full swivel plasma TV. We had a very relaxing time. Thanks Mom and Dad for letting us have some time away.

Halloween Castles

We had such a great time with our visitors last week. THANK YOU for coming to see us. The kids had fun making Halloween castles. The boys made one and the girls made one. I feel bad that Jessica had to have Ella's help, she put skeleton heads EVERYWHERE and then ate all of the candy that Jessica was trying to put on.

Love this video!

While Kent and I were shopping, I saw this music video in the store. I couldn't help but smile. Is it his jump? His flopping hair? His eagerness to greet every person he sees? I don't know. What I do know is that I'll start hopping everywhere I go.

Fairy Godmothers

We did a little photo shoot with the two daughters Danae already has and displayed them at the shower. Here are a FEW of my favorites. Aren't they going to be the best Fairy Godmothers for their little princess sisters?

Twice Upon a Time...

My beautiful friend, Danae is expecting twin baby girls very soon. She already has two little girls, so Reagran threw a very appropriate "Cinderella story" theme shower. The decor was spectacular. I was so happy to be a part of it.
Each person took home their very own pumpkin.

The food buffet was as delicious as it was gorgeous.

Here is a picture of the two older sisters playing the part as Fairy Godmothers.
Reagran and I had a lot of fun making a version of Cinderella's carriage.

Mom and Dad visit

My parents, along with my niece Jessica and nephew Nathan, came to visit today. I put them right to work in the kitchen, helping me get ready for Danae's baby shower (more details in future post). It was so much fun working together in the kitchen as if we were a little catering company. The chef and the staff. My dad even got in on some of the action! Then we took a break and had a spooky after school snack. The kids made some cute Jack-O-Lantern sandwiches and "buggies" on a log.
