Happy Mother's Day
I love this picture for Mother's Day. This is the reason I'm celebrating Mother's Day. My mom, and mother-in-law, are two of the most incredible women I have ever had the opportunity of knowing. I am thankful for the example they are of Christ-like women. Both of them have a lot of the same admirable qualitites that I hope to attain someday. Each of them have distinct and beautiful characteristics that make them wonderfully unique. I also love this picture because the two mothers in my life are holding my daugther- a future mother. I am overwhelmed by the trust my Heavenly Father has in me to raise a girl that will someday become a mother. I'm thankful for my role as the mother of my two beautiful children. I can only hope to be half as talented, patient, creative, energetic and loving as these two mothers in my life. Here's to all the mothers who have reason to celebrate today. I love you.
Happy Birthday Morgan

Days
I just checked my "ticker countdown" for my Fiji trip. I only have 30 days until I go! Wow! Less than a month! I am so excited. I am looking forward to see something different than my own little world. The Primary, in my ward, is working with me to do a service project for the Primary in my parents ward, in Fiji. We are donating books, making sacrament games for the children, and drawing pictures for them. In return, my parents will have the Fijian primary draw pictures for me to bring back to the children here. I can't wait to be a small part of service while I'm there. I hope this will be a teaching moment for Ethan, as he sees the service we can do for others.

The Host
Cameron Sleeps Over

We were lucky enough to have Ethan's friend, Cameron, stay with us for the weekend. Cameron's parents drove to California to interview for a job (Good luck, Troy. We have mixed emotions about you getting the job... don't leave us!!). Ethan and Cameron are the cutest little friends. They had a great time. We went to the park, ate cookies, watched Power Rangers and had a Mexican Fiesta while he was with us. At night Ethan and Cameron each had their little stuffed animals, their little blue blankets and their sippies full of chocolate milk. I can't find my camera so I will post the pictures as soon as I can!

El Cinco De Mayo
We had a fun Fiesta with our friends for Cinco De Mayo. My camera is in the shop so I don't have any pictures of people that were actually at our house. Since I am all about pictures, I still had to put some on here. It was a great night. We had the missionaries along with Reagran's family and the Anderson (Jory and Kathy) family over to help us eat some delicious Mexican food, courtesy of Kathy, and some home-made fried ice cream. Yummmm!
What party is complete without a pinata? Especially a Mexican Fiesta?! We didn't do it in the garage this time like last time- that was way too redneck. Instead we had Kent hold it up on the end of a broom while everyone took a whack at it. Much better! Someday we'll have a Cinco De Mayo party to rival this one. Until then, enjoy these pictures of complete strangers.

My friend Becky
At church I was able to hear the testimony of my dear friend, Becky. I am so thankful to have wonderful friends that inspire me to do better. Becky is a great person with a positive outlook on life.
She is moving from Sunnyside next month and I hate to see her go. Luckily, she is only moving 35 minutes away. I am thankful that she was here to help me feel situated when we first moved to Sunnyside. While we were living with Gary and Katie, Katie invited Becky and her family over to the house to help us feel welcomed. I had a fast connection with Becky and I am grateful to be able to call her my friend. She is the most genuine, loving person that you would want in a friend. I am going to miss you, Becky!Good luck as you move forward with the next step in your life. Your family is amazing, thank you for sharing them with me.

Happy Birthday, Brandon
Happy Birthday to my nephew, Brandon. He is the tallest boy in the back row. Right now, Brandon is serving a full time mission in Georgia. I am so proud of him and thankful for the example he sets for my children. I hope it is a wonderful day for him. We love you and are very proud of you! (I don't know if he ever sees this, but I still love him).

A fun week
Our niece, Hannah, celebrated her birthday today. She is such a cute little girl with lots of spunk. Happy Birthday!

This week we went to see Annie in her Spring Concert at school. It was darling. My favorite song was "I'm a Little Teapot." Annie is such a talented performer. She is in the middle row, in the middle of the row- good luck finding her in this little picture!
Since one of Ethan's soccer games landed on a Monday this week, Kent and I took the kids to Burger King afterward for a little "family night outing." They had a blast.
