Picnic Date

I have had a "to do" list all week that doesn't seem to be getting much shorter. Instead of tackling my chores, I decided to ignore them and plan a picnic with Kent. What's better than a weekend date night? A date in the middle of the week- in the middle of the day! This is our new lot in Prosser that we hope to start building on soon. I set up the picnic before I went to pick up Kent from work, during his lunch hour. Kent was not as enthused as I was about eating like two fools in the middle of a weed patch. I guess we learn new things about each other every day. Even though it didn't go as I had planned in my mind, it was nice to enjoy the sun and be together, even if we did eat "on the go".

Next time, just invite me. I'll enjoy a lunch with you in a field, filled with weeds anytime. ;)

Oh, Natalie, this was such a beautiful fairy-tale set-up that romantic movies are made of! Alas, I think your husband didn't fall far from his dad who I don't think would have gone along with it, either. But seriously, you are the most creative person I know in the ways you try to remind people they are loved!
