Multnomah Falls

Here is a picture I forgot to post earlier. This is the restaurant in the hotel. We had breakfast there every morning. It was delicious and the view of the garden was wonderful. The resort was focused on relaxation. As you can tell, from the couple in the background, it was completely normal to be walking around in your robe all the time. Kent and I couldn't help but laugh when we saw some people in their robes, playing chess in the lobby. Now that is a great hotel!
Kent and I had a very relaxing weekend, full of shopping, good food, and great views.

We ate at the Lodge that rests at the bottom of the falls. It was cold outside and our table was right next to the very large fireplace. It was so romantic. I couldn't get over the view. Every now and then a train would rumble through and I felt like I was living a chapter from a wonderful book.

Sounds like so much fun! Scott and I have never taken a weekend "off" since having kids. I think we're due so I need to take a page out of your book and just do it!

That looks awesome! Hooray for resorts where you can run around in nothing but a robe and giggles. I am so happy you had that chance to be together and enjoy your loving.
