We bought our first Christmas tree! We've been using a little one of my parent's tree since we got married (thanks mom and dad). Ethan and Ella are having a great time decorating and redecorating it.

It is beautiful! I LOVE the colors you chose. Maybe next year we will take the plunge and buy our first tree. Ours is a hand me down too! And next year our decorations and ornaments NEED to upgrade to something other than the borrowed snowmen and snowflakes! But for now, they will do. I am having a very seasonal moment right now. It has been raining most the day so it is dark outside. I have the fire going, the Christmas lights are on, and I have orange peels and cinnimon sticks boiling on the stove making the most deliciously Christmas aroma in my house! I LOVE THE HOLIDAYS!!! Miss you much! --Love Nicole
your tree is so pretty. However it took me a second to realize that you really didnt put a silver shoe on there. at the bottom of the picture the star and the ribbon together look like a shoe!!! Its early for me.....
I love to celebrate the little things along with the big things in life. I love being able to stay at home (without any crazy "work from home" job). My kids are my whole world. I look at them and realize how blessed I am to be their mom. Our youngest child, was born with a terminal disease called Menkes disease. We are trying to not take one memory for granted as we learn the joy of Eternal Families. My husband works at a dental practice just a few blocks from home. We live in a small town and really have found our place here. We miss being close to family but have been lucky to have wonderful friends here that feel like family.
