Since the kids had spring break for the last week and a half, I decided to load up for a trip to Logan so my family could help me entertain my kids. Reagran's daughter, Annie, was nice enough to come along to help me. Not only did I forget to pack more than one pair of pants for the trip, I also forgot my camera. I only snapped a couple of shots with my phone, but there is lots to write about. We stopped half way and swam at the hotel. The kids loved swimming after being stuck in their car seats for so many hours.
Once we made it to Utah, the trip started off with a wonderful party hosted at my sister's house the first night we arrived. Most of my siblings and their children were able to make it and we had a great time catching up and letting the kids run around playing dart guns and dress-ups. The next day, the kids went swimming with Grandma and Grandpa. Then we planned to go to my sister's house again but a blustery canyon made it that Camille came up to Logan instead and spent the night. We took the kids to see "How to Train a Dragon" (which we LOVED!!) and then we had pizza for dinner, followed up with a little swimming before bedtime. The next day we went swimming again, played some more dress-ups and computer games. We took the kids to the "Family Fun Center" and then headed to Camille's house.

We got a babysitter for the little ones and took the older kids shopping and to the movie "The Last Song" (take a tissue!). We finished up with dinner at Texas Roadhouse. We said goodbye to Camille and drove through a blizzard to get back to my parent's house. The next morning the kids went swimming one last time. We ate at the Bluebird Cafe on our way out of town. My brother and his family, Russell and Merrilee, were nice enough to meet up with us there so we could catch up. After a wonderful (HUGE) lunch, my dad lovingly scooted us into the car and on the road. After two days of driving through winds, rain, snow, ice, eating countless happy meals, putting on puppet shows, playing video games, changing poopy diapers, feeding Cannon in random parking lots, playing "Which is faster?", "I spy," and many other fun games, we made it home. Thank you family for the fun filled Spring Break weekend. We loved every minute of it.

You are the best mom for driving by yourself and your kids all the way to Logan! I don't know why you don't just jump on the plane and head over here so we can party like this too (:
