As many of you know, my first two babies were very difficult. Well, this time around has been a different story for us. Cannon has been so calm and patient. He sleeps well, lets Ethan and Ella hold him without crying, and only lets out a little squeal when he is ready to eat. Kent and I have been pleasantly surprised that a baby can be so enjoyable. All of the "hearing test experiments" that we did on him demonstrated how worried we were that he had to have something wrong in order to be so well behaved. Now that we have had him in our family for almost two weeks now, we know that he is just a calm spirit. We couldn't be happier to have this experience of seeing what an angel baby is like. I am just crossing my fingers that it will last.

FINALLY I get the story! I have been waiting for pictures and to hear it all since you had the little man! First of all, he is so cute! I am so glad that everything went so smoothly and that his hearing test came back normal. I feel (at least I felt with both my kids) that the scary health challenges after the baby is born only helps us love them that much more! I am so glad he is doing so well and YOU ARE SO BEAUTIFUL! In that hospital picture you don't even look like you had a baby!! Well, I love you so much and hope you are doing awesome!
Angel baby or not...I want to take him home with ME! I'm so happy and grateful that all worked out with the little one. He is truly lucky to have been sent to an amazing family. And what great older siblings he has! Congrats again on his healthy and safe arrival. It says a lot about your faith and endurance through your trials. In the end, you were more than blessed! I can't wait to see him. I'm just hoping he still has ALL his wrinkles!

PS: Nattie...have I told you that I think Cannon looks JUST like you?! You MAY have pulled off the impossible...beaten out the Copeland genes so one of your children looks like you! Well done. :)
He is so so darling! It even makes him more darling that he is an angel. I can't wait to see this little guy.
Hmm...I wonder if Cannon will trick you into having #4! He's adorable and we are so glad he's healthy and we can't wait to meet him. Riley is just so excited!
I just got goose bumps and a little teary-eyed reading this post. I know how much this means to you to have a "calm spirit". I am so glad you have been blessed with Cannon. I hope things continue to go well for you guys. He is so handsome, I love that little knitted hat!
