"Sew" Easy

This dress was super easy to make. You just buy the material and sew one little seam down the side. Then I just added ribbon as little straps. It was harder to get Ella to hold still for a picture! Harder yet was the comment made by the Wal-Mart employee that helped me cut the fabric. While I was getting material, the girl behind the counter said, "Are you making this dress for your Grand-daughter?" I could have died!!! I came straight home and put on cold cream on my eyes! hahaha. The comment encouraged me to have my next theme party be one of a "Botox" inspiration. Moving on... enjoy the pictures!

WHAT!!! I can't believe she said that! You definitely don't look like a grandmother... You are beautiful! By the way, the dress turned out awesome! You are an inspiration for me to start doing something... Anything... other than my mundane life! Love you!

So cute.. I made one like that for Jayli last year. It is super easy and they are so cute. You're becoming quite the seamstress! You look fabulous, some people just need to not talk to anyone!!

The dress is sooo cute! Don't worry- you don't look old enough to be a grandmother! That's crazy! She probably didn't look up much while she was cutting the fabric- and how many young moms actually sew clothes any more? She probably has many more grandmothers as customers.

We need to get together to talk- I missed you!!

Natalie! You are so talented! I've got a sewing machine sitting in my closet that has yet to be used. Maybe once I stop working. Anyway, the dress is adorable! And don't worry about what the girl said, although I can't believe she said it! You're gorgeous! :0)

Now that's my kind of sewing. It turned out cute. A grandma? Are there a lot of teen pregnacys in Sunnyside? 15+15=30. Did you catch Ivie's post on turning 30 and shopping at Dress Barn? So funny.
